Here are a few examples: Common Core is being renamed to: WSLS (Washington State Learning Standards) Opt-Out is in the process of being renamed to: Refusal When the powers feel that a word or term has become negative and is causing them to lose control they simply give it a new name to misdirect and confuse those who oppose them.
