L.A. School District Indoctrinates 5-Year-Olds With Celebration Of LGBTQ Values

How likely is it this can come to your school district? How would you respond? The Daily Wire is the source of the report: Starting next week, many children as young as 5 who attend Los Angeles Unified public schools will participate in a weeklong celebration of “National Coming Out Day,” which falls on October 11. The district issued its “Week of Action Toolkit,” emblazoned with a Black Power Fist over neon rainbow stripes and is nominally optional, although peer pressure will likely prompt elementary school teachers to use its programming. Its version for elementary students contains an “Identity Map activity” that “Prepares students to think critically about identity and … [Read more...]

Fifth Graders at Arizona School Provided Shocking Adult Transgender and Gay Curriculum – Is this coming to your school district?

Did you think that schools were supposed to educate children in math, reading, writing, communication, history and similar topics? Or do you subscribe to schools teaching social mores, genderism, providing health services and not informing parents of medical activity, providing mental services and other social-emotional aspects? Our own OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction) under the leadership of Chris Reykdal (who has claimed, on his personal Twitter account, to be a "social warrior") wants gender to be part of the public education process starting in...kindergarten. So, you ask if this story out of Arizona could happen in Washington State...the answer is YES!. As a … [Read more...]

Gender Identity Curriculum Angers Parents in Virginia

This story was originally run in July 2015 at CBN News - writer is Charlene Aaron Editor's Note: Although this particular story is a year old we offer it to show that parents around the United States are dealing with the same concerns. Given the intent of OSPI to institute new Gender Identify training starting next year (2017/2018) we want you have as much information as possible so you can weigh in and share your views with the State Superintendent's Office (OSPI) as well as quiz the current Superintendent Candidates (Jones and Reykdal) about their positions. The Fairfax County Public school board recently approved lessons about homosexuality and gender identity in its Family … [Read more...]

Washington State Schools Push ‘Gender Fluid,’ Transgender Ideas on K-12 Kids

From a story at Breitbart - author is Dr. Susan Berry Children in kindergarten need to “understand there are many ways to express gender,” says a “core idea” in the newly released Washington State health and physical education standards. The standards name “self-identity” as a topic of the “core idea” of the K-12 curriculum, and define gender as a “social construct based on emotional, behavioral, and cultural characteristics attached to a person’s assigned biological sex.” That “gender identity” claim is a sharp departure from conventional education and civic norms, which assume that young people with male biology will and should see themselves as boys, and that young people with … [Read more...]

Pressed By Common Core And LGBT Agenda, More Families Homeschool

From The Federalist - author is Nicole Russell Homeschooling has grown 62 percent in the past decade, and in the era of Common Core and transgender bathroom dictates, that growth has only accelerated. This past school year, homeschooling grew in Florida at its biggest rate in a decade: “We see all the emails from parents: ‘I just don’t want my kids exposed to Common Core,’ ” Karen Harmon, chairwoman of a Florida homeschool support group, told The Florida Times-Union. “Their thought process is that it’s dumbing down the school systems and making all students average, but a lot of parents want their child to excel.” That trend is playing out across the country. Local … [Read more...]

School stops enforcing Obama’s trans bathroom policy after parents pulled kids out

From an article at LifeSiteNews ... HOWELL, Michigan, June 6, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) -- A Michigan school district has stopped the practice of allowing members of one biological sex to use the restrooms of the opposite sex after parents pulled their two sons out of elementary school over the issue. Last week, Matt Stewart's nine-year-old son told him, "There was a girl in the boys’ bathroom" with him and other male elementary kids.  When Stewart called the school, the principal told him the Obama administration's federal guidance on transgender students forced them to allow transgender students in the bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers of their chosen gender, and not their … [Read more...]

Gender Ideology Harms Children

From The American Academy of Pediatricians ... Originally posted March 21, 2016 – a temporary statement with references. A full statement will be published in summer 2016. Updated with Clarifications on April 6, 2016. The American College of Pediatricians urges educators and legislators to reject all policies that condition children to accept as normal a life of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex. Facts – not ideology – determine reality. 1. Human sexuality is an objective biological binary trait: “XY” and “XX” are genetic markers of health – not genetic markers of a disorder. The norm for human design is to be conceived either male or female. Human sexuality … [Read more...]

Washington State To Teach Transgenderism To Kindergartners

From The Daily Caller By fall 2017 Washington state public schools will begin teaching gender expression to kindergarteners under newly-approved health education learning standards that designate sexual health a “core idea” of public K-12 education. While some aspects of sexual health aren’t taught K-12 (HIV prevention begins in fourth grade), one component of sexual health titled “Self-Identity” begins in kindergarten, where students will be expected to “Understand there are many ways to express gender.” Should Kindergarten Students be Taught Transgenderism? The state’s health education glossary defines gender as “A social construct based on emotional, behavioral, and … [Read more...]
