If there is only one (1) candidate running should you vote for them?
What if one of the candidates in a multiple candidate race doesn’t answer questions or share their positions on important education topics?
If there are 1 or 2 candidates they automatically move to the November election.
You have a decision to make…do you vote for one of the candidates or, if you don’t like any of them or you don’t know anything about what their positions are or how they stand on key issues…what do you do?
We suggest you write-in a candidate. Introducing the perfect candidate for any election where you don’t have information and don’t want to vote for just anyone. Vote for NoTA. (None of The Above). This way you vote and send a message that until candidates take the time and make the effort to explain their views they don’t automatically get your vote. Consider writing in NoTA.
Support the candidates who take the time and make the effort to let you know who they are and where they stand. By telling you they do stand the chance you will not like their position(s) leading you to vote for a different candidate…but…what if the other candidate(s) didn’t take the risk and share their thoughts? Should they be rewarded?
