Tom Guthrie
Statement: For over 20 years, my wife and I made our home in Woodland and
have come to know and love many of the wonderful people in this community.
Raising our three daughters here has motivated us to invest our time into the
wellbeing of Woodland School District.
Through our eldest daughter’s graduation from Woodland, our middle child in high school, and our youngest in middle school, we have cultivated strong relationships with school staff and parents in the community. It has been my honor to serve on the Woodland School Board for the past five years. During this time, I have gained a deep appreciation for Woodland’s quality staff who work together to give students the best education possible.
For the next four years, I am committed to expand upon the great work we have already done. I will continue to listen and collaborate with our community to
strategize meeting the needs of WSD, within the budget we have, to determine what is best for all of the students and staff at Woodland School District. I do want to thank the community for their strong support of the schools and activities that make our town great! Go Woodland
