May 15-19th 2017 is the filing period for school board positions state-wide. School board positions are hard work, thankless, get no compensation and catch flack for many decisions...and yet...are critical. Most school board directors in Washington State are liberal/progressives. They rarely fight back against state or federal mandates. They allow Common Core, High Stakes Testing, don't fight cross-gender use of bathrooms and showers, support programs that increasingly try to take control of raising children from parents...the list is long.
